Be Ryndiculous

3 notes

So I’ve decided to abandon tumblr.  I feel like when I first started using tumblr (summer before my senior year of college, I believe?) real people posted real things and it was fun and interesting.  Now, 99% of it is gifs from shows or movies or posts obsessing over shows or movies.  The only time I feel like I see a photo from real life is when its something like “look at this quirky thing I’m doing.”  And I get that, I used to put a lot of effort in to loving fictional characters or making sure people know or at least thought I was interesting.

But I’m kind of over it, because my real life is interesting and I don’t need people to know it.  But for those of you who post real things about life (I’m looking at you Grace Link), try to keep me in the loop.  Because I like you guys, tumblr just makes me depressed these days.

Oh and as a sidenot rant that I’ve been putting off: posting pictures of girls in their underwear with cuts on their arms glamourizes that sort of behavior and it made me absolutely sick every time I would see those posts.  Its not bringing awareness and helping people, like you’re probably pretending its doing.  There are other ways to do that.  Its making it look like an attractive behavior.  So please, cut it out.

Laterz guyz.

I am addicted to the internet and I don’t know how to stop.  I should probably delete my tumblr, because its full of dissatifaction and hipocrisy and worthless tv shows.  But I just can’t commit, you know?

Wasting time.

I consider 99% percent of people who think they have things figured out to be idiots.
